 At Susquehanna University, 23 varsity sports compete at the NCAA DIII level, with more than 30% of students participating in varsity athletics. As a student-athlete, your collegiate journey will focus on personal development and well-being. Strive for competitive greatness and academic success, embodying sportsmanship, leadership, service and respect on campus and in the community.

Susquehanna’s athletic legacy includes individual NCAA DIII national and conference championships, with numerous All-American and all-conference honors. Join the ranks of over 250 former athletes inducted into the university’s Hall of Fame. As a student-athlete, aim for excellence in the classroom with a cumulative GPA surpassing 3.4, contributing to Susquehanna’s record of producing 32 CoSIDA Academic All-Americans.

River Hawk Athletics at Susquehanna University  

Meet Kallan Carter, a true River Hawk and a senior Environmental Studies major at Susquehanna University. When she graduates, she’ll be running away with school records and the personal satisfaction that comes with being the best version of yourself, thanks to her experiences at Susquehanna.

Facilities

All Susquehanna students have access to the university’s world-class athletic and recreation facilities, including the James W. Garrett Sports Complex which is home to the Clyde H. Jacobs Fitness Center, the Robert I. Estill Field House, racquetball courts, swimming pool and more.

Approximately 30% of Susquehanna’s student population is a member of one of SU’s 23 NCAA Division III intercollegiate sports teams.
